Who owns the work
Manu Vishranti (मनु विश्रांति) is the pen name of Manav Sharma (मानव शर्मा). He created everything on this site: The Five Wounds and its six volumes, the comic सपनों वाला जंगल, the meditation diary नेति नेति, the game लंका की खोज, and the words, pictures, designs and code of the site itself. Copyright in all of it belongs to him, apart from what the section below names as belonging to everyone or to others.
The books of The Five Wounds are published by Walnut Publication. The paperback ISBNs are listed on the series page.

What belongs to everyone, and to others
- The old texts: the Vedas, the Upanishads, the Valmiki Ramayana, the Mahabharata, the Puranas, the Bhagavad Gita, the Ashtavakra Gita, the Ramcharitmanas and the Hanuman Chalisa are centuries old and belong to everyone. Their verses are quoted in the original, each with its number and the edition it was checked against. The Hindi meanings, the explanations and the choice of what to show are his.
- The other tellings of the Ramayana: the pages built from the game say what each telling does in the game's own Hindi words. No modern translation is copied.
- Facts, about animals, books or history, belong to no one. The pages that give them name their sources, and the sentences are his.
- सत्यमेव जयते is quoted as a line of the Mundaka Upanishad. The State Emblem of India is not shown anywhere on this site.
- Book titles are not owned by anyone, and other books share titles with The Five Wounds and its volumes. The pages here say which books are his.
- Links to other sites lead to their owners' own pages. Nothing is copied from them beyond short facts, each cited.
